Bring the culture into your own home
Do you still think you have to get out of your comfy pj's, put make up on and travel 30 minutes just to get some food?
Oh, how the times have changed, my friend.
The options available to you simply by clicking 'order online' are so vast, you probably don't even realise it.
And don't think your only choice is ordering a large pizza or some Chinese food at most. There's a whole other world of food out there that will enable you to be as much part of Word Food Week as those that travel all the way to India for a curry.
All three of the above are a great way to find the restaurant you're in the mood for without the hassle of endless searching or having to order separately. Plus, they have so many great varieties, you can order Indian for your mum and Lebanese for you!
- They're all available both online and as an app
- Can order any food you're in the mood for: from American to Thai.
- Quick and easy to use
- Ordered and at your door in one tap!
It may be that sometimes you crave a very specific dish, made a certain way by a specific restaurant. Like that pizza that is always cooked just right, or that pasta sauce that doesn't try too hard because it's perfect just as it is.
World Food Week is still for you! The aim is to try something different. If there's a dish you really want to try but you don't have the time to sit in the restaurant and do it properly, do not worry! There's always the other option.
Takeaway is available for most restaurants and cafes nowadays. It never hurts to ask! Obviously, not everyone can deliver, however they might be able to cook your food and wrap it up for you to enjoy at home.
A quick drive thru is also on the cards. You can get a great dinner on your way home and not even have to get out of your car to do it. And McDonald's or KFC aren't your only options. There are some great restaurants that either do a takeaway or drive-thru that you may or may not know about. No harm in exploring a little food culture on your own home.
